Michael Morris: Finding Hope and Healing Through Recovery

I was helped absolutely, and I don't do much to prepare for this. Can you talk about that and the effect that it has on your sobriety?
Michael Morris' journey from addiction to recovery is nothing short of inspiring. Growing up in Kingston, Massachusetts, Michael started with weekend drinking that soon spiraled into a full-blown addiction to opiates and heroin. Despite the concerns of friends and family, he continued down a perilous path until he found himself homeless and at rock bottom. It was at this lowest point that Michael decided to seek help.
He turned to The Plymouth House and other recovery programs, which became lifelines in his quest for sobriety. Michael credits his success to the unwavering support of his family, friends, and fellow recovering addicts. Another crucial element in his recovery was his spiritual connection. He had to surrender to a higher power and relinquish control to truly heal. In this episode of Guardian Recovery Network Live, Michael's story is a beacon of hope for anyone grappling with addiction.
His resilience and determination offer encouragement to seek help and never give up. Guardian Recovery Network provides world-class facilities and compassionate care to help clients achieve sustained recovery. If you or someone you know is struggling, there is hope.
