Breaking Free: The Journey from Addiction's Grip to Recovery's Freedom

I noticed that I have more freedoms now in active recovery than I did in active addiction, because the chase for the drug, the need for the drug, I was. And so when you can, when you're able to sober and you stop using the drugs, then there's the mental work that comes with it in order to get yourself to what we're talking about, the freedom spot of sobriety, to where you're not enslaved to this Daily routine of having to get it, use it, get it, use it, and the anxiety and the stress that goes with that of being able to find more and use more is the downfall of addiction, and a lot of people don't understand that they don't get.
Imagine being trapped in a cycle that feels impossible to break. That's what addiction can feel like. In this episode of 'The Agents of Recovery', hosts Max Hall, Coach Blu Robinson, and Brock Bevell dive into the stark contrast between the suffocating hold of addiction and the liberating path of recovery.
