Garrett's Transformation: From Gang Life to Sober Advocate
My purpose in life is to save other people, and I say that because there were, so I should be dead times over some of the stuff I got myself into right, and I'm sure you can relate to that, but my higher power kept me alive, and I tell people all the time there's going to be a day when I die and I'm going to meet my higher power and she's going to look at me and she's going to say: what did you do with your life?
Imagine spending 20 years in the grip of gang life and addiction, only to emerge as a beacon of hope for others. That's Garrett's story.
