Nicole's Path: From Addiction to Advocacy

I'm just really excited to be alive and to be here and to be a mom and to be able to help other people.
Nicole Kludre's story is a raw and riveting account of a life entangled in addiction and the long road to recovery. Growing up in a strict Pentecostal church, Nicole always felt like an outsider. This feeling of not fitting in led her to experiment with drugs at an early age. Her drug use spiraled, involving opiates, Roxys, methamphetamine, and crack, which eventually cost her her freedom and even her son. But Nicole's story doesn't end in despair.
Through Medically Assisted Treatment with suboxone, she found a way to reclaim her life. Now, she's channeling her experiences into helping others navigate their own recovery journeys. In this episode of 'The Recovery Scene', host Lesley Klepac delves into Nicole's past, exploring the pivotal moments that shaped her path. Nicole discusses the importance of supportive relationships and mentorship, highlighting how sharing her story has become a powerful tool for aiding others in similar situations.
Her journey underscores the challenges of staying sober and the triumphs that come with it. If you're looking for a tale of resilience and hope, Nicole's story is one you won't want to miss.
