I remember walking down the steps of that meeting thinking that I didn't belong there because I wasn't on Kensington Avenue. I didn't lose my house. You know, things weren't the worst. And, you know, I went into that a meeting and the guy that was speaking, uh, he was sober well over 30 years he was probably in his later 70s and the first thing I thought was like I'm not gonna relate to this guy like I don't have anything in common with him and from the time he spoke uh to the time he finished, I related to every single thing that that man had shared, like, and, and, and the seed was planted.
