In this gripping episode, ZO opens up about his tumultuous journey through addiction. He doesn't hold back as he recounts his descent from casual experimentation to full-blown dependency, all while trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy. Raised in a stable home, ZO initially had no idea how insidious addiction could be.
His story takes a dark turn as he describes the five years he spent homeless, unable to face the truth of his situation. Despite numerous attempts at traditional rehab, ZO found himself disillusioned with 30-day programs and 12-step meetings. He shares his frustration and the eventual realization that he needed a more personalized approach to recovery. Enter the 'fpa program', an innovative method focusing on the neurobiology of addiction and tailored to individual needs.
ZO's candid reflections also touch on the financial ruin, physical deterioration, and emotional devastation that addiction brought into his life. Personal relationships crumbled, and his professional life suffered immensely. Yet, amid the chaos, ZO found the strength to pen an ebook inspired by his experiences, offering a beacon of hope for others in similar situations. This episode is a raw and unapologetic dive into the complexities of addiction and the arduous journey toward sobriety.
