One of the things I felt I took away from this in reference to, especially the book, Post-Traumatic Thriving, was in that book, he talks about the stages of going through trauma, the dive stage, the survive stage, and the thrive stage. And in the thrive stage, when we're working through and getting to the other side of our trauma we experience things like gratitude there's resilience there's forgiveness there's connection and there's faith and the thing that's really stood out to me more recently is the importance of connection and how important it is to connect with others as we are moving through our trauma and getting onto the other side of it.
