I don't condone what he did, but I can see where those cracks started happening. PTSD wasn't even, I mean, sure people had like, what did they call it? Just like shell shock, shell shock. Yeah, I mean, so there was like a term, there was some awareness of it, but there really wasn't any, you know, support structures. And then I think at that time, men in America were viewed, you know, oh, you're back from the war time to, you know, get a job, be a provider, take care of your kids, you know, like, it's a pretty rapid transition. You know, and so I get why I don't condone what he did, but I can see why. And so that's becoming clear to me too. Like as his granddaughter, even though I never met him, it's kind of like, okay, I get, I get the why now.
