In this episode of 'Rooted Recovery Stories', Nate opens up about his journey from foster care to recovery, shedding light on how he found hope amidst the chaos. Nate's story is one of resilience and the power of connection. His struggles with addiction landed him in jail multiple times, but it was there that he attended his first 12-step meeting. He emphasizes how crucial it is to surround oneself with the right people in early recovery.
