Episode Overview

  • Natalie's journey through trauma, abuse, and recovery
  • The impact of trauma on marriage and relationships
  • The transformative power of faith and healing
  • Navigating recovery individually and as a couple
  • The importance of resilience and support in the healing process
I feel like it's a good place to end it and I do want to i know we didn't get to the point of you actually forgiving your abuser but i think we could probably start off the episode with that next time and then we'll kind of talk through our marriage and then that'll be kind of our part two of this because i feel like it's important. I know that wasn't easy to go through that again, but I also know that you're pretty fearless in talking about what God has done in your life.
Natalie Marnocha bravely shares her story in this episode of The Recovery Podcast. Her journey begins with a harrowing account of sexual assault that shattered her sense of self, leading to further abuse. This isn't just a tale of suffering; it's about finding a way out when all seems lost. Natalie talks openly about how her trauma affected her marriage and how she and her husband worked through these challenges together.
The conversation is raw and honest, touching on difficult subjects like sex and intimacy within the context of marriage. It's a powerful narrative of resilience, faith, and the long road to healing. For anyone dealing with the aftermath of trauma or supporting someone who is, this episode offers hope and insight.
