Josh's Journey: From Kingpin to Meth Survivor

It wasn't until you put one together with the other that there was this serious, serious problem.
Ever wondered what it's like to go from a top drug dealer to battling meth addiction? Meet Josh, a friend of host Matt Ingrouille, who opens up about his rollercoaster life in the debut episode of the Say Know Podcast. Josh started dealing drugs in his teens and quickly climbed the ranks in Saskatoon's drug trade. But his world came crashing down when meth took hold of his life.
This episode is a gripping account of how meth's insidious grip derailed Josh's life, from his initial concerns about Adderall for ADHD to becoming a full-blown addict. Josh also sheds light on the surprising demographic of meth users, including white- and blue-collar workers you wouldn't typically associate with the drug. He recounts a high-speed car chase that could have ended in disaster and shares his views on why meth is more alluring than other drugs like cocaine.
The conversation also touches on the societal stigma surrounding meth users and why current drug policies are failing. Despite the dark themes, Josh's story offers a glimmer of hope. He believes that education and community involvement can make a difference. As he puts it, 'Maybe we can affect our clientele a little bit by educating the public and maybe there'll be fewer people trying to get coke'.
Tune in for a raw, unfiltered look at addiction and what we can do to make things better.
