Caryn B.'s Road to Recovery: Embracing Vulnerability and Community

I genuinely believe the universe has got something good on the edge of every fear, pain, growth. There's something good on the other side, and- or at least that's been my experience, and it may not be just earth shattering, but for me there's something to grow.
At just 22, Caryn B. found herself trapped in a destructive cycle of addiction, unhealthy relationships, and suicidal thoughts. In this episode of 'Stories of Recovery', she opens up to host Matt Shedd about her journey from despair to hope. Caryn candidly discusses the masks she wore to hide her pain and the moment she realized she needed help.
Her story is a testament to the power of vulnerability and the strength found in community support at MARR Addiction Treatment Centers. Through the 12 Step Program, Caryn learned to confront her fears, let go of resentment, and build healthier connections. She also delves into the role of spirituality in her healing process and the importance of holding space for others on their recovery journeys.
Caryn's experience underscores that there is love and growth on the other side of addiction, offering inspiration and hope to anyone facing similar struggles.
