Moshe Hecht's Journey: Finding Light Amidst Depression and ADHD

Taking care of myself and dealing with it so that it doesn't have to consume me all the time is the way I've gotten better is the way I manage myself.
Moshe Hecht grew up navigating the complex world of Queens, NY, where he often felt like an outsider. At home, he was 'that Lubavitcher,' but in his Chabad community, he never quite fit in. His high-energy personality frequently landed him in trouble at school, and it wasn't until his thirties that he finally received diagnoses for ADHD and depression. This revelation was a turning point for Moshe, shedding light on the feelings and behaviors that had troubled him for years.
His story is a raw and honest account of his struggle with mental health, from hitting rock bottom to finding the right support system. With the help of medication, therapy, and a supportive wife who knew when tough love was needed, Moshe began his arduous journey towards healing. Today, he looks back at his depression from a distance, offering a message of hope and resilience to others facing similar battles.
Tune in to hear Moshe's inspiring story and discover how he found the tools to manage his mental health challenges.
