Daphne H: Healing Through Community and Purpose

I think it's the strongest Today because I understand on a deeper level that the end goal is not sobriety, that the liquor is but a symptom. Because they're there and I'm willing to share any and all of it with a woman if it helps, and to see the miracles happen in the women at Maggie's, just to watch them change while they're there, and then they get out and keep going, and it's transformation before your eyes and they don't even necessarily see it themselves.
Imagine finding a renewed sense of purpose after years of struggling with alcoholism. In this heartfelt episode, Daphne H opens up about her personal journey through addiction and recovery. She delves into the transformative power of community and how aligning her will with a higher purpose has not only helped her heal but also allowed her to support others on their path to sobriety.
Daphne discusses the significance of the 12-step program in her life and shares inspiring stories of the women at The Magdalen House, fondly referred to as Maggie's, who have experienced their own miracles of transformation. She also highlights the Next Step program, emphasizing its role in sustaining long-term recovery. If you're seeking inspiration or guidance on your own journey, Daphne's story is a beacon of hope that underscores the importance of community and spiritual alignment in overcoming addiction.
