It's starting to shift a little bit. It's going to take a lot of work, but the people that I'm dealing with now that we're creating these, we know that we can do a program that maybe they can, the government can purchase or whatever, they can get it into the schools. I'm not sure how it's going to work, but I'll get in front of the people that will make that decision. But if they could start doing that, they will absolutely start making it. It won't take much when they put it in there it's going to be like almost like why haven't we done this 50 years ago and when they do it I think it will be almost instant but if we don't get I'm working very hard to get to that point this summer hopefully we'll have an appointment with Dr. Jill Biden and get this done.
Imagine growing up under the constant shadow of a parent's severe mental illness. Karen shares her deeply personal story of being the prime target of her schizophrenic mother's mental and physical abuse. Despite these harrowing experiences, Karen has dedicated her life to advocating for mental health, particularly focusing on the needs of children.
