I think it's just such a privileged time to work with someone because, you know, I can't even imagine what it feels like to be just living your life and then in an instant have something pretty bad happen. And when most of my stroke experience is at a hospital in Sydney called Bankstown Hospital that has a comprehensive stroke unit, so acute right through to rehab. And so you'd meet people the day of or the day after their stroke and understand the impact of it on their life, but then, you know, have the privilege of working with them or alongside them to build their recovery um and yeah I just feel like it's an area very rewarding area of physio because you can have such an impact and you can really help people on that journey. - Dr. Kate Scrivener
