It's really interesting towards the end of my not drinking I remember also kind of doing a similar thing like oh I'm nervous if I can just have a drink then that'll make this situation easier and then also I remember being really self-conscious of my behavior and I think it's because like I couldn't show up as who I really was with all of this alcohol in my system so it was this weird feeling of like in a way I feel more relaxed but another way I actually feel like way more anxious.
What happens when a health crisis becomes a turning point for a more fulfilling life? Meet Mabel Bachini, a spirited and passionate woman whose journey to sobriety began with persistent health issues that left her in constant discomfort. For years, Mabel sought medical help to no avail, until a friend’s offhand remark about alcohol being an enemy to her condition sparked a radical change.
