Austin Hill's Journey: From Loss to Purpose Through Relational Recovery

Seeing and experiencing Jesus's grace in people's lives like getting to know people who were living outside, getting to know the women that worked Parsons Avenue, just because of the work that was happening at the rescue mission we did.
What happens when life throws you a curveball and you find yourself questioning everything you once believed? Austin Hill faced this very dilemma after the death of his father. In this compelling episode of 'Relational Recovery', Hill sits down with Wes Thompson to share how his faith wavered, only to be reignited through an unexpected path.
Struggling with his beliefs, Hill decided to immerse himself in the lives of homeless individuals in Columbus, seeking to understand what made Jesus' teachings so impactful for them. This led him to volunteer at a rescue mission, a move that profoundly changed his perspective and life. Hill and his wife even sold their funnel cake stand and relocated with their three daughters to the south side of Columbus, where he continued his work at the mission.
Here, amidst the visible suffering, Hill found grace more palpable than ever. He witnessed firsthand how faith could transform lives, including his own. Now deeply involved with Relational Recovery, Hill helps others find their purpose, emphasizing the power of community and grace. Tune in to hear Austin Hill's inspiring journey from doubt to a renewed sense of purpose.
