Imagine feeling like sobriety, no matter how tough, has to be better than the misery you're living. That's where Ryan found himself, battling alcohol addiction with nowhere to turn. His journey took a dramatic turn after enduring days of brutal withdrawals at Holland Hospital and a short stay at Turning Point, a local detox center. Desperation led him to Guiding Light, a free rehab program in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Fast forward three years, and Ryan is now sober and working with a non-profit that helps men recently released from prison reintegrate into society. In this episode of 'Casting Light', Ryan opens up to hosts Dan and Debbie about his struggles and triumphs.
