Wes Geer: From Rock Bottom to Rocking Recovery

When you learn to create and you're like sober, right, but you're truly channeling creative and divine spirit.
Wes Geer's journey is a wild ride from teenage substance use to rock star highs and devastating lows. Kicked out of high school and his home, Wes found himself living in his car and working at Domino’s. But his love for music kept him going, eventually leading to the formation of Hed PE at just 21. Touring the world with the band, Wes turned to alcohol and meth to cope with loneliness and the pressures of fame.
His addiction spiraled out of control, leading him to quit the band after nine years. Feeling his life was falling apart, Wes sought help and embraced sobriety. Though he relapsed after three years, he quickly got back on track through prayer, meditation, and working his steps. Just ten days later, he received an offer to tour with Korn, a pivotal moment that reignited his passion for music and recovery.
Determined to give back, Wes founded Rock to Recovery, a program that brings the healing power of music to treatment centers. Through this initiative, he’s helped countless individuals find hope and healing. Wes’ story is a testament to the transformative power of creativity and resilience in overcoming addiction. Tune in to hear Wes Geer’s inspiring tale of redemption and how music became his lifeline.
