Old habits die hard and the thing is staying plugged in, staying in contact with people around you helps me at least recognize when those habits are coming in because the moment as I'm driving to the dope house the moment that I reach out to somebody else from recovery and start saying out loud what I was about to do immediately clicked in my head of like girl like this this is your old habits this is routine for you like what are you doing so it's a quick like 180 of um like hearing myself say out loud that I was about to go use and about to ruin my clean time and about to, um, lose the place that I lived in about, I mean, was like a wake up call.
