Andy Hoffer's Transformation: From Teenage Mom to Nuclear Engineer
A big part of my story is this idea that, like I was a shitty mom... I knew I couldn't hang out with family because I would drink. But, you know, by the end of those months, I called my cousin and I said: you know, I think I have like this weird disease where I need to drink to be happy, like I don't know what to do.
Imagine being a teenage mom on food stamps, juggling school and motherhood. That's the reality Andy Hoffer faced at just 17. Fast forward to 2010, and she had become a successful electrical engineer, yet found herself unhappy, overweight, and struggling with addiction. Money wasn't the solution she thought it would be. Andy hit a turning point on November 20, 2014, when she decided to quit drinking and doing drugs with the help of a 12-step program.
This choice changed her life forever. Now a dedicated fitness and mindset coach, Andy uses the tools she learned in recovery to help others unlock their inner strength. Her story is a powerful reminder that with the right support and determination, transformation is possible.
