I never had the ability to bring it back because I didn't have the tools so my rubber band just continued to stretch and continued to stretch and continued to stretch and I lived like that I lived in that hyper aware state that hyper stress state, that hyper anxious state.
Ever wondered how different paths can lead to the same destination of sobriety? In this episode of 'Together S.O.B.E.R.', four incredible women—Heather, Meredith, Dana, and Tracie—open up about their personal battles with addiction and trauma. Each of their stories is unique, yet they all share a common thread of resilience and the transformative power of choosing sobriety. Heather, an Art Therapist and Recovery Coach, found her way to sobriety in 2017 and hasn't looked back since.
Meredith, who grew up with an alcoholic mother, found herself repeating the same patterns until she decided to break the cycle nearly nine years ago. Dana's journey involved over a decade of heavy drinking before she made the life-altering decision to quit. Tracie, now over two years sober, celebrates the newfound joy and confidence that sobriety has brought into her life.
Through their candid conversations, these women highlight the importance of seeking support, doing the inner work, and embracing the challenges that come with recovery. This episode is a powerful reminder that no one is alone in their struggle and that there is always hope for a brighter, sober future.
