After working the steps, when a good Samaritan called me and said, Your daughter's drunk. She's walking in and out of traffic. She's going to get hit. Can I bring her home? And I said, You know, I think the best thing to do at this point is to call the police. They'll come and pick her up. They'll arrest her. They'll put her in jail, and I'll know she's safe. That is amazing to me. I never could have done that before working the steps and having a spiritual awakening.
