The field of mind-body medicine is heavily scientific but it's not really presented as so. I do think that going back to your question is the subconscious part of your nervous system. It's like no, the nervous system is part of your subconscious, so is the fascia. There's a lot of different systems and even our microbiome, the gut bacteria that's in our gut, our oral microbiome, our sinus microbiome, that's part of the entire system as part of the subconscious system that drives our physiologic behavior, and the nervous system is actually a small part of it.
What if the way we approach brain health could be completely transformed? In this episode of 'New Life Perspectives', hosts Liz Larson and Bill McKenna welcome Dr. Chen Ruan, who offers a revolutionary take on medical practice and brain health. Dr. Ruan dives into the pressing issue of doctor burnout, sharing eye-opening statistics and personal stories that highlight the need for a shift in the healthcare model.
