Reflecting on 2020: Triumphs and Challenges with Montana's Peer Network

We have, you know, a dozen partners around the state working towards the same staff just can't manage... It's important to have t the communities that can.
What a year 2020 was! For Montana's Peer Network (MPN), it was a time of both immense challenge and incredible growth. Jim and Andi sit down to chat about how MPN navigated the turbulent waters of the pandemic while continuing to champion recovery-oriented behavioral health services across Montana. When the world went virtual, so did MPN, offering PS 101 training online and certifying new Peer Support Specialists from the comfort of their homes.
Membership numbers soared, and the network expanded its reach like never before. Jim and Andi share stories of resilience, detailing how virtual events and webinars became the new norm. They discuss the ups and downs, including some heated debates and controversial conversations that sparked change and growth within the community. Looking ahead, they express excitement for what 2021 holds for MPN and its members.
If you're curious about how a dedicated team turned a crisis into an opportunity for connection and growth, this episode is a must-listen.
