Michael Stoller on the Strength of Reaching Out in Vulnerable Times

I send out texts to five, six, seven people that I know that I want to talk to, that I know I could connect with...And when I feel in a place of I'm unique and different and nobody can understand exactly how I'm feeling, that's what keeps me from picking up the phone. But every time I confront that and hear that voice now that nobody can relate, nobody could give me what I need, nobody can support me, nobody, just nobody- will be able to give me what I need. Basically that I challenge that thought.
Ever feel overwhelmed and unsure of who to turn to? Michael Stoller gets it. In this episode of 'My Blueprint: Struggle Towards Emotional Sobriety', he delivers a brief yet impactful message about the power of reaching out when you're feeling vulnerable. Michael shares his own struggles with self-compassion and the habit of deleting recordings that don't meet his standards.
But instead of giving in to these doubts, he challenges himself and offers a simple practice: texting five to seven people and talking to the first one who responds. This small act has led to some of the most meaningful conversations and personal growth moments in his journey. Michael's message is clear: vulnerability isn't a sign of weakness but an act of courage and self-care.
If you've ever felt like no one could understand what you're going through, this episode might just change your mind. Tune in for a dose of inspiration and a reminder that reaching out can be a powerful tool for emotional sobriety.
