Recovery has been difficult for me over the last, hasn't not difficult in the sense of like, uh, like I'm jonesing for a beer or I'm jonesing for drugs or jonesing for some sort of escape. That's one thing that I've come to know, um, by cutting out drugs and alcohol in my life, I also began to see other things that can really distract me and take me away from life and take me away from self and take me away from, you know, a regular connection with, um, with a higher power and a spiritual way of life.
