Her job in New York had been downsized, and she hoped the glittering lights of Vegas would bring new opportunities. Initially, her trips to the casino were just for fun, showing visiting friends around and never losing more than twenty dollars. But life had other plans.
With no job prospects, a broken heart, and the devastating loss of her brother, Ronnie found herself turning to gambling for comfort. What started as a distraction soon spiraled into a serious addiction. Within a year, she was gambling away her car payments and pawning her belongings, all in a desperate bid to win big and solve her problems. But the more she gambled, the deeper she sank into debt and despair.
Ronnie's story takes a turn for the better when she discovers Gamblers Anonymous. It’s here that she finds the support and understanding she desperately needs.
